"Based on the recent data, finding talent may be a growth-limiting factor in Northeast Ohio’s high tech economy," said Dorothy Baunach, CEO of NorTech. “The data validates the feedback we’ve been hearing from companies regarding their high tech talent needs. The Neotechjobs.com site intends to fill existing talent gaps for regional high tech employers. Overall, we hope to market the portal broadly to attract and retain high tech talent in Northeast Ohio."
EmployOn LLC, the leader in online job posting aggregation and labor market technology developed the web site that uses spider technology to compile jobs postings from across the internet into a single massive, searchable job database.
The Northeast Ohio High Tech Jobs portal was launched on the heels of a report from Monster.com, stating that Cleveland is now one of the top 5 hottest job markets in the country, coming in at 4th place. Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, and Boston did not make it into the top 10, and San Diego and Washington DC experienced zero percent job growth online. Monster stats show Cleveland with a 10 percent growth in one year.
